The Hurricane is an extremely large settling chamber. With 4" inlets, 4" bottoms drains, and a 4" discharge, this filter can easily handle ponds over 8,000 gallons, with a flow rate of 6,000 gph.
The Hurricane Settling Chamber provides excellent mechanical filtration in an easy-to-clean unit. This Vortex filter can easily be added to any established pond with little work. The 4" output allows for no restriction or backflow in the filter.
This Settling Chamber works best as a Gravity Fed System, however, can also be a Combination System.
The Hurricane II is the largest settling chamber Patio Ponds produces. With the ability to handle 9,000 gph, this monster of a filter is used for 10,000+ gallon ponds.
